I called Tiffany the morning of her senior session: “are you SURE you want to do your session? We can reschedule, I know it’s cold out there.” See, 48 hours earlier it was EIGHTY DEGREES. The morning of Tiffany’s senior portraits, it was 29. Poor girl! But no, she was determined to press on and what a tough cookie! Despite the cold and overcast skies, we got some great, great stuff….kinda hard not to, Tiffany is SUCH a cutie! And she marks my first official senior session of 2011.

We unfortunately missed the Plaza lights by a few days but we still got some super cool shots! Caitlyn is hoping to attend the Kansas City Art Institute and wants to pursue an art degree – so we worked some of her love for art into the first half of the shoot and got some super cute stuff.

Emily S: senior portrait session | Parkville, MissouriOctober 17th, 2010Man, this has been such a gorgeous month for shooting. It’s been a blessing, since my schedule is so full that I’d have problems with rescheduling shoots if it was raining constantly! The evening of Emily’s senior shoot was no exception. She and her mother drove down from St. Joseph for her shoot – done [...] |

Taylor and her mom I think chose the single most glorious evening of the year for her senior session. Shawnee Mission Park is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot – and I’ve not even seen a good half of it yet! (probably much less than that….) Narrowing blog candidates down to my standard 12 for this shoot was HARD. Good Lord, the light! We finished off the shoot with a few dressier shots around Renee Kelly’s (Caenen Castle) in Shawnee. Enjoy!
