Morning dawned bright, cool and gorgeous last Sunday for Catherine and Jeff’s engagement session. They deserved it, as we originally scheduled earlier that week when it was gray and at times, pouring rain. While shooting in the rain can make for some really cool work, we decided holding umbrellas and camera gear in lightning storms was not the smartest idea. So, here we are back at Sunday. Catherine and Jeff wanted to make their dog Dublin a part of their shoot. Why not? It’s clear he’s very much a member of their family. Though a puppy still and really wound at the start of our shoot, he settled down and I could tell he was absolutely digging the morning. As was I. The light was incredible. I left eager to edit and get the shoot blogged, but a week full of other shoots delayed my efforts and well, I try to be Super Woman but really, I usually fail at that.
Catherine and Jeff, best of luck with all of your wedding preparations and I am super jealous of your wedding day plans! (they are getting married in their home state of South Carolina on a plantation…um WOW…)
Catherine and Jeff informed me they have a tradition of getting a “jump shot” everywhere they travel. So…here’s one to add to your collection, guys!
