Erin and Mike drove up all the way from Emporia, Kansas Thursday evening for their engagement session. That’s not all – they actually were in Emporia for the week from Mississippi! Lucky they were; as I sit here blogging this session we have 3 inches of snow on the ground, and our good friend Gary Lezak said we are expecting 4-8 inches of additional snow before the day’s over (should make for an interesting wedding reception I am shooting this evening!). But no, it was in the mid 60s and the sun made a rare, rare appearance for their session – the only glitch was that their photographer was a bit under the weather, but as I do….I deal.
Actually, you could set a bomb off behind me when I am shooting – so I tend to ignore the fact I’m a bit miserable until I’m sitting in my car after the session.
I’ll be shooting Erin and Mike’s wedding this August in Emporia at a couple of GORGEOUS, historic venues – so you’ll be seeing a lot more from this couple right here!
remember this weather two short days ago, Kansas City??
