Meet the O’Connors! | Lee’s Summit family portrait session

March 26th, 2012

I love repeat family clients. It’s SO fun to watch the kiddos grow. The last time I photographed the O’Connors, adorable Taylor was SO much smaller and the newest addition to the family, Tessa, had not yet come into the world. What a fun session this was! I love repeat family clients. It’s SO fun to watch the kiddos grow. The last time I photographed the O’Connors, adorable Taylor was SO much smaller and the newest addition to the family, Tessa, had not yet come into the world. What a fun session this was! We had some sprinkles here and there – not enough to even dampen the spirits of the session but a great excuse for Taylor’s bright pink umbrella and yellow rain boots to come out. And what is that? Green grass and flowering trees already? We’re over a month ahead of schedule as far as everything turning green, which is great news for spring portrait session clients!

This is going to be a busy week on the blog, so stay tuned! Happy Monday – enjoy!

Aiden M | a sunny day in Liberty

February 27th, 2012

Next on the blog is adorable little Aiden, who joined me with his mom Lorie to shoot around my Liberty studio on a nice sunny day. What a cutie, huh? And could you ever believe it’s winter? I’ll be headed out of town (actually out of country!) for vacation the morning after this Saturday’s wedding. […]

I’ll be headed out of town (actually out of country!) for vacation the morning after this Saturday’s wedding. The studio will be closing at noon on Friday so I can pack, prep for the wedding, and get things taken care of before our departure. (Just a reminder that I will not be reachable by phone from then until March 11 – I was told it would not even WORK if I tried, let alone the expense – so direct all requests to sarah@sarahdickersonphoto.com and I’ll check in once in a while.) So…back to work so I can hit all of my many deadlines for the week! In the meantime, enjoy little Aiden. 🙂

-Sarah

Finn | the most adorable one-year portraits you’ve ever seen!

February 10th, 2012

We shot around the studio a bit as well as around the front deck of my building, cute furniture and all – and a bit around the building as well. This little guy did SO well! He LOVED my window and watching the cars go by down below 🙂 Happy Birthday little guy!

The Jones family met me on a crisp, brisk morning a couple of days after Christmas to do a mini session that mom had been surprised with for a Christmas present. Mom was truly excited to get to do this! We had gorgeous scenery and incredible light for their portrait session. See, winter portrait sessions are totally doable! 🙂 Happy New Year, everyone.
