Guys, bear with me because this is going to be a long one with lots of details about a SALE! (both a portrait session sale and print sale) and plans for next year! To save you the reading before we get to the part about next year….first, the SALE!

  1. ALL PRINTS and DIGITAL DOWNLOADS are 25% off through midnight on Friday, December 15th. How to get the discount? Easy peasy. Visit my online proofing site, find your gallery (need help? Shoot me an email ). Enter 25OFF at checkout.
  2. SESSIONS ARE ON SALE! Book them for yourself, or to give as a gift. These are all on sale through Christmas, then my rates will be going up slightly for the first time in over 5 years. Right now both mini and full sessions are 25% off of the 2017 rates, which means it will be an even STEEPER discount over 2018 rates! Go to my booking site to take advantage – click the “GIFT CERTIFICATE” link for the type of session you’d like, and you will receive a code to enter when you want to schedule your session on down the line. What a deal!

Any questions at ALL about either sale, please do not hesitate to shoot me an email!

Now, about the rest of the items regarding 2018! First, a quick reminder about how my schedule and scheduling system works. Since I get my work schedule for any given month around the 18th of the month prior (so for instance, December 18th I get my January schedule), I load my schedule into my online booking system at that time. IF YOU PREPAID FOR ONE OF THE ABOVE SALE SESSIONS, please shoot me an email and indicate approximately when you think you’d like to schedule your shoot. I will add you to my monthly list of clients who get FIRST ACCESS to my schedule before I release it to the public here and on my Facebook page. That’s right, you get a shoot on sale AND first dibs on scheduling! So again if you interested in, for example, a May shoot, my May schedule will go on my booking site by April 18th or thereabouts. If you pre-paid for a sale session and indicated you would like a May session, you’ll get an email about the shoot before I release my schedule to anyone else and make it public. Why do I do this? Some months, I may not have as much availability due to a vacation or trip, recurrent training, or holidays. I obviously honor my commitment to shoot the prepaid clients first, and then any new bookings after that.

The second item: I am CONSIDERING doing winter minis in a FANTASTIC studio/loft location in the west bottoms. I just used this studio last weekend for a shoot – and with brick walls, sliding big barn doors, old wood floors, and mega amounts of props and furniture…not to mention divine natural light, I can tell you I am super super excited about this opportunity! However, since this studio costs me money to book for a half or full day, I need to know who might be interested before doing any further planning. So….if this interests you, please fill out my short survey!! These sessions can be family sessions, kiddos only, a quick high school senior session….

And that’s a wrap! Enjoy your holidays! (and I hope you enjoyed these previews from a handful of sessions shot in November and early December!)

Hello all. Recurrent training at my airline is over, and I’ve got my schedule for July set up on my scheduling page. I am so sorry this took so long; I’d promised it last week, and I know some of you all were possibly interested in shooting this holiday weekend. I unfortunately lost my grandmother (my last remaining grandparent) less than 24 hours after returning home from training, and photography just had to take a back seat.

My July is not super open; I’m obviously gone part of the month for work and my vacation is also occurring at the end of the month; I’ll be in Wisconsin for a week. My grandmother’s services in two weekends also affects my schedule. That all being said, I do have SOME availability – so go check out my schedule and see if what I have available works out for you. August should be much more normal, and I intend to give you all as MUCH of my time as I possibly can this fall (September, October, and November) when portrait sessions really ramp up with fall colors and the holidays approaching. Please continue to watch my calendar each month that you are interested in booking. Again, I post my schedule around the 19th-20th of each month for the FOLLOWING month, once I have my work/travel schedule. I only know my work schedule one month at a time, until I bid the following month – so unfortunately, for example now, I do not know my work schedule beyond the last day of July. I will have August’s schedule by the 18th or 19th of July. Any questions about booking, of course, please do not hesitate to email me. Also, I DO take advance requests to be notified via email when a particular months’ schedule becomes available – so for instance, if you are dying for an October shoot, I can email you as soon as it is posted. (as of today, July 3rd, I’m still playing catch-up from training and my family’s loss…so be patient, I’m working on it today).

ALL that being said, I’m going to finally start blogging and sharing some of my fantastic spring shoots in the coming weeks. We will start with the Cotter family, who were one of my wedding clients several years back. One of my greatest joys is continuing to work as a family photographer for couples such as Emily and Tom as they start their families. So neat and rewarding to see! Enjoy these photos, and I’ll be sure to share more sessions in the coming days.
