I was really looking forward to Lindsey’s senior session – I’ve known her and her family for quite some time, and have photographed her before (as a part of a family session) – she knows how to work it for the camera! We had a gorgeous day and some incredible light for her session last week, and Lindsey taught me a bit about various species of trees here in the Kansas/Missouri area
(seriously, the girl can identify nearly any leaf out there!) Seriously, dendrology knowledge aside, this is one beautiful young lady!

We had a lot of fun with his dogs and checking out some gorgeous places to shoot right around his home. Sometimes you don’t have to go very far at all to get unique and great shot locations!

Cole C | Liberty High School senior sessionNovember 3rd, 2011We shot Cole’s senior session last Friday morning at his grandparent’s place – which was absolutely gorgeous albeit a bit frosty. Cole made sure to bring some Cardinals swag – given that they’d won the World Series the night before, I’d say that was appropriate |

She really liked the sun in a lot of my work, so we pushed the session back a week to this Monday which dawned…cloudy, stormy and dreary. Luckily, it cleared out and we had a great evening for her session! Isn’t she a gorgeous girl? We shot this session around Parkville, Missouri – and although there is flooding all around the city, as you can see there are plenty of GREAT areas to shoot that are just fine!

Despite the cold and overcast skies, we got some great, great stuff….kinda hard not to, Tiffany is SUCH a cutie! And she marks my first official senior session of 2011.

I met Caitlyn and her mom Lavinia on a fa-reeeezing late afternoon for Caitlyn’s senior shoot; we started at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art right at sunset then continued into the Plaza to shoot some at night. We unfortunately missed the Plaza lights by a few days but we still got some super cool shots! Caitlyn is hoping to attend the Kansas City Art Institute and wants to pursue an art degree – so we worked some of her love for art into the first half of the shoot and got some super cute stuff.
