I’ve known Tabitha for a few years; her family also vacations in Wisconsin at the fly-in that my husband Jim and I attend each year. Still, I was honored when she contacted me a few weeks before our trip this year to see if I could do her senior portraits while we were up there. I thought logistically it might be kind of *fun* doing senior photos while we are all camping, but with a few minutes borrowed in a travel trailer of another fly-in attendee to primp and do makeup, we were set! What fun this was. Tabitha’s family life is strongly rooted in aviation, so she wanted a large part of her session to revolve around it. That was easy; we were camping at an airport! So, our location for the shoot was none other than the New Holstein Municipal Airport in New Holstein, Wisconsin. We picked a nice cool evening for the session that gave us some incredible light; the weather was on and off hot and stormy so we had to carefully choose a good evening! (the pig roast on Wednesday that draws hundreds of town folk to the airport and our fly-in probably was not going to be one of them). Tabitha is a bright, sweet girl with plans to go into the Navy – and I’m sure whatever she does, she’ll be incredibly successful. Tabitha, here’s your sneak peek and hope to see you again soon!
