Danyelle and Beau had a PICTURE perfect day to get married. With Mike Tsai’s help, we captured a FANTASTIC family surrounding these two with so much love. The candids from this wedding are just awesome. And you can’t fake candids – there was so much emotion through the day; laughter, tears, hugs, cute kid moments. The photojournalistic, emotional side to weddings is what continually draws me to shooting them; certainly, you do have to be good with portraiture, composition, and light usage (sometimes in super difficult conditions), but wedding photography also requires an ability to capture moments the instant they happen. Great wedding photographers have to be incredibly versatile shooters and it’s what remains a huge challenge to this kind of work. Mike and I (Mike especially, his candids from Beau and Danyelle’s wedding were AMAZINGLY good) really had a lot to work with with these two!

I was out of town the day of the wedding so was not able to attend. Being able to look at these photos enabled me to seem like I was present. They really captured the moments of this wonderful day. What a treasure to be able to have for future viewing when looking back on this day.

I loved how the pictures turned out! You guys are such a cute couple, and the pictures really showed how beautiful the wedding was. Your dress in front of the oval mirror was one of my favorites, along with the old barn photo. Plus, I love pictures that show people’s emotions; and these really did! The picture of you and your bridal party on the bridge…such sassy, fun ladies!
The pictures are all beautiful. My favorite is Beau with his hand on the tree and Danyelle to the side with her arms around him. They are both beaming and the colors are amazing in the shot. Amazing pictures that captured an amazing couple!
